Welcome to Narangba Baptist Church

We’re a community of people who passionately love Jesus – and most days we love each other too. We think the world really needs God right now – so we’re praying and asking Him to visit us with His presence.

We’re a friendly, informal, family church. We’re committed to walking through life’s ups and downs together and helping each other to surrender our lives to Jesus. NBC is a great place to make life long friends. We believe that everyone has a story to tell, and we often encourage each other with what God is doing in our lives.

Our vision

What we’re working towards, we envision NBC as:

“A prayerful community devoted to God and one another, encouraging and equipping followers of Jesus to make disciples in their places of influence, for the glory of God.”

Core values

These are the values that guide us:

  1. Intimacy with Jesus
  2. Love for others
  3. Biblical Truth
  4. Kingdom Minded
  5. Simplicity
Our mission

Intentionally simple, our Mission Statement helps us stay focussed on what’s important:

NBC exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ.”

Acts 2:42-47:

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people.

And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
